• GlobalProtect versions 4.1.x and older are not compatible with Apple’s new iOS 12.
• We advise users to delay upgrading to iOS 12 until they have installed GlobalProtect 5.0
• GlobalProtect App 5.0 is now available on the iTunes store, and will fully support iOS 10 , 11 and 12or greater.
• We recommend that iOS 12 users uninstall GlobalProtect app 4.1.x before installing GlobalProtect app 5.0 on their iOS endpointsdevices.
• The Older 4.1 version of the GlobalProtect App has been renamed to GlobalProtect Legacy.

1. Take note of your portal address as you will need to re-enter it on the new GlobalProtect app. It should be vpn.louisville.edu.
2. Uninstall previous versions of the GlobalProtect app (4.1.x and earlier releases) from your iOS device.
3. Launch the App Store.
4. Search for GlobalProtect. The old app has been renamed to GlobalProtect Legacy.
5. Tap GET to initiate GlobalProtect app installation.
   
6. When prompted, Install the app.
7. After GlobalProtect app 5.0 installs successfully, launch the app.
