Security

ITS Security protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information for our students, faculty, and staff. Whether it be personal data, business assets, university computers and applications, or UofL’s network, our range of security services maintain the highest level of protection available.

Our team evaluates and responds to security incidents. If you are unsure if you have a security incident or need help on other security services, contact our team directly. If you would like to report an incident, unintentional data loss or suspected system breach, please submit a ticket .

For those with a legal purpose to request documents from the university, please submit an Open Records request. Full information regarding legal disclosure and Copyright is available.

Please consult the UofL Policy and Procedure Library about the use of university technology, information security responsibilities, encryption of data, protection of computing devices, and the responsible (ethical and lawful) use of all university computing resources. While ITS maintains the highest level of security protection possible for our computational resources, each individual is responsible for the security of their technology and the UofL systems accessed by them.
