Listserv
ListServs are email lists that can be created to email groups of people associated with the University. Listservs are a great way to send important emails to a group of people, notify a specific group of people of an event, share important information, and more.
There are three types of Listservs:
• Interactive – all subscribers of the listserv can send emails to the listserv, and all subscribers can respond to emails sent to the listserv
• Moderated – all emails sent to the listserv must be approved by the editor of the listserv before they are sent to listserv subscribers
• Announcement/Broadcast – only the editor of the listserv can send messages. Subscribers cannot reply to listserv emails
