Deprecation of Unsupported CardBox Applications
Deprecation of Unsupported CardBox Applications
As of November 12, 2018 Box.com will no longer support applications using the insecure TLS 1.0 protocol.
This includes applications created by Box themselves (like Box Drive and Box Sync), as well as third party software such as Web browsers.
Details of this announcement can be seen in the article from Box.com: Deprecation: Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 Encryption Protocol.
The most up to date/compliant versions of Box software can be found here:
If you have not upgraded to a compliant version by the cut-off date, you will not be able to access CardBox through the affected application and may experience the behaviors described by Box.com here: How to Tell if Your Box Product is not Compliant With TLS1.1+.
