Bitwarden

ITS is ending our use of Dashlane, our subscription-based password manager and digital application.  

For those who currently have a Dashlane account, you will automatically receive an invitation to join Bitwarden.  The invitation will include a link to a login.  Please use your UserID email address (userid@louisville.edu) to login, and if you are prompted for a SSO identifier, type in “louisville” (without the quotes). 

Please note: the Bitwarden solution is self-hosted. You will need to be connected to the VPN to access the vault. Once you have your vault created, you can then install the browser extension or desktop app. 

 Your information must be imported into Bitwarden no later than 5/9/2024 to ensure that no data is lost. 

For the remaining members of ITS, an invitation will be extended to sign up for Bitwarden.
