Password Challenge Question Requirements

Challenge Question Rules

Purpose – Password challenge question requirements. If challenge responses do not meet these criteria, they will be rejected.

1. Response must be at least five (5) characters but less than 17 characters
2. The answers must be different for each question (If this requirement is not met - You will get an error message: Please specify distinct Secret answers.)
3. The answers should not be "first", "second" or "third" or a similar pattern because the next time the questions are displayed, they will be jumbled and no longer in the same order

Characters allowed in question responses:
o Numbers
o It takes these special characters: !@#$%^&*()_+ `~-=[]\{}|;':",. <>?,./– , including spaces. We recommend that they not use special characters
o Alphabetic characters, upper and lower case. We recommend that they only use lower case
