Changing Your Password and Setting Up Challenge Questions
UofL passwords expire every 6 months. As long as you know the current password or set up the challenge questions, you can change the password yourself!
Step-by-step guide
- Go to: http://password.louisville.edu
- You log in with your UofL userid and password
- Set up the Challenge questions
- Choose a different question for each question
- Click on Reset Password (at the bottom left)
If you forget your password, after you've set up your challenge questions:
- If you've forgotten the password AND you've set up the challenge questions, you can click on Forgot Password at the top of the screen
- Answer the Security Questions
- They must be one word answers
- 5 - 10 characters long
- lower case
- They can not be the same
- If you've forgotten the password AND you've set up the challenge questions, you can click on Forgot Password at the top of the screen
