VPN Client Windows Quick Start

1. Go to https://vpn.louisville.edu to download and install the GlobalProtect VPN client.
   
   Once the client is installed, there will be a small gray globe icon in the system tray by the clock.
   • The gray globe icon signifies that the client is not currently connected.
   • The colored globe with a shield indicates that the VPN client is connected.
     
     
2. To connect, click on the gray globe system tray icon.
   A window will appear that prompts for the Portal.
   Enter "vpn.louisville.edu" for the portal then click “Connect”.
   
   
   
   
3. A window will appear that prompts for your ULink Username, and Password.
   
   
   
   

If the connection is failing for some reason, please generate a client log zip file and attach it to the call ticket and place the ticket in the entsec queue.
