Configuring Your Account in Outlook 2016

        Open Outlook 2016.  If your Outlook does not already have an account installed, go to #1.

 **If Needed** Click to open the File tab, from the Account Information window, click Add Account.



          

                                                              

 Below is what is first seen if opening Outlook with no accounts currently installed:

 

  1. From the Add Account page:                                                                                                                                
    1. Select Email Account.
    2. Enter your full name as you want it to appear on your email account.
    3. Enter your PRIMARY SMTP email address [i.e., first.last@louisville.edu].
    4. Enter and retype your ulink password.
    5. Click Next.

         

                                                                                                                                                                         

If you encounter a Windows Security Microsoft Outlook window use your email credentials:

                


 Click Finish.  You may be prompted to restart Outlook if this is where you began the process.
