How my name appears in email

Because UofL uses different platforms and products to handle email, your name can appear differently in email that you send out.

1. If you send from Exchange to Exchange:
use the entry from the GAL or
type in userid@exchange.louisville.edu
it will appear as
last,first

2. If you send from Exchange to non-exchange:
includes @louisville.edu or any other domain
it will appear as
first.last@louisville.edu

3. If you receive mail from individuals OUTSIDE of UofL, your name will appear how they have it set up in THEIR address book.
when you reply, your name/email will keep that same convention.
